Tim Gries

Tim Gries is a Marine Corps Combat Veteran who served during OEF/OIF 2003. Our New Founder & Director of Operations, overseeing and managing the ongoing development of the non-profit organization.

He is devoted to ensuring the Veteran Racing Group serves as a gateway to a larger network of support, growth, and shared experiences. True fulfillment comes from engaging in various outlets-whether through mentorship, teamwork, giving back, and camaraderie—creating a sense of belonging that extends far beyond the track. By recognizing that we are part of a greater
whole, we find purpose not only in our individual pursuits but in lifting others up and strengthening the bonds that unite us. Building a stronger community of what we’ve adopted with our brothers and sisters through Boulder Crest and Camp Southern Ground as Post-Traumatic Growth.

-“So that we are all not forgotten, from the battlefields to our homes.”-

Our Story

VRG primarily serves military veterans of all ages and service branches, including those experiencing PTSD, anxiety, depression, and isolation. our programs also engage veteran families, caregivers, and supporters.

Through our programs and events, we also seek to raise awareness for important issues affecting veterans, such as PTSD, suicide, and other injuries. By shining a spotlight on these issues, we hope to start important conversations and provide support to those who may be struggling.

One of our core values is fostering a strong sense of community among veterans. We strive to create a network of individuals who are willing to support and uplift each other. By laying down the groundwork for a caring and collaborative community, we aim to establish a support system that extends beyond the racetrack.
